Garrett has expanded the G-XRace lineup with three new GXR45 turbos — the GXR45-76, GXR45-80, and GXR45-82. These models were built in direct response to racer demand
for more flow, more boost capability, and higher peak power in a proven motorsport-sized package.

All three new sizes use Garrett’s XBoost Technology, delivering up to +29% more compressor flow compared to similar G-Series turbos. That increased flow translates into cooler, denser air and higher efficiency at big power levels.
HORSEPOWER RATING:
● GXR45-76: Rated up to 1650 HP
● GXR45-80: Rated up to 1750 HP
● GXR45-82: Rated up to 1800 HP
The new G-XRace GXR45 76, 80, 82 has been tested by Dave "Duffy" Duffield's (@duffy_davee) ethanol powered 3.2L 2JZ. The purpose-built race machine serves as a real-world validation platform for Garrett Motion's turbochargers providing real dyno results and repeat 7-second runs, including a 7.345 @ 187.7 mph pass that earned #1 Qualifier and Limited Street Champion at WCF 2025. He tested each turbo on his setup, and in the testing, we saw the following: (See Dyno graphs in slides)
+24% WHP improvement over same sized G-Series with the GXR45-76
+11% WHP improvement over same sized G-Series with the GXR45-80
1706 WHP achieved with the GXR45-82
Every size includes:

XBoost Technology increases power and performance

Up to +29% compressor flow compared to G-Series (Depending on model and frame size)

Improved pressure ratio capability enables higher boost pressure

Increased efficiency at high flow rates provides cooler, denser air to boost power capability

Lightweight aluminum backplate to reduce turbo weight

Flange-style speed sensor port for easy installation and turbo speed monitoring for optimal performance and turbo life
