Nigel Franklin is a qualified engineer with a passion for performance vehicles. He saw a need for specialised after-market parts that were hard to find or in some cases, completely non-existent. 

Franklin Engineering, now known as Franklin Performance, was born from humble beginnings out of Nigel's garage in 2006. With a handful of custom made parts available (all photographed on the kitchen bench), the online store was created. The original head oil drain fitting for Nissan RB engines was an instant winner and the support from customers and fellow car enthusiasts grew exponentially. 

Fast forward 15 years and Franklin Performance has grown to be one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers of car parts and accessories. Nigel and his growing team of quality engineers run a productive factory full of modern CNC machinery in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand. The demand is growing and so is their range of products, distributed daily to loyal customers across the globe.

Manufacturing all of their custom-made parts in-house and distributing them straight from the factory, Franklin Performance is able to keep the quality high and the prices low. The team have a shared passion for what they do and all strive daily to be leaders in their industry by challenging each other and experimenting with new methods & applications. Everyone loves thinking outside the box to develop ideas and design products that are better than anything else in the market.
