This range engines is dyno and race proven. All profiles have a good balance between aggression and stability and can be used at very high RPM when combined with the correct valve train components.

The Kelford range of B series camshafts has been designed and refined over many years of racing. We cover the range of requirements from street performance to track racing to monster all motor builds and turbo applications.

176-B Camshaft Set

284/280 Degrees advertised duration. 11.80mm /11.30mm lift.

The ultimate NA stage 1 performance cams for B16A and B18C. Still maintains good street drivability and mild idle off-VTEC. The 176-B VTEC lobes open up top end power in the 5.5k-9.5k rpm range for track use or spirited driving. Improved mid-range and high rpm power over OEM Type R cams. Must have tunable ECU, intake (such as a whale penis) and exhaust system upgrades. OEM intake manifold can still be used. Requires valve spring upgrade, Kelford Cams recommend KVS18-K. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 242°/6.0mm 242°/8.4mm | Exhaust: 236°/5.8mm 246°/7.8mm

176-C Camshaft Set

294/286 Degrees advertised duration. 11.80mm /11.30mm lift.

Naturally aspirated racing cams for B16A/B18C powered circuit and track cars. Suits engines with high compression, ported cylinder head and good intake and exhaust systems. Large low lobe spec for strong mid-range power. VTEC crossover around 6k rpm depending on engine. VTEC will pull to around 10k rpm depending on engine. Rough idle on plenum manifold. Requires valve spring upgrade, Kelford Cams recommend KVS18-K. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 270°/11.0mm | Exhaust: 262°/10.0mm

176-R1 Camshaft Set

304/298 Degrees advertised duration. 13.00mm /11.30mm lift.

ALL MOTOR B16A/B18C drag racing cams for extreme NA engines making 250hp-300hp+. Cylinder head modifications are required to avoid valve to valve contact. Ideal for big bore and long stroke engines. Fuel type race fuel, ethanol blend or methanol. Kelford Cams recommend KVS18-K valve spring and retainer kit when running this cam. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 270°/11.0mm | Exhaust: 262°/10.0mm

176-T Camshaft Set

284/274 Degrees advertised duration. 11.25mm /11.00mm lift.

Stage 2 turbo cams for B16A and B18C engines making 600-1000hp. Great for track and roll racing. Great with E85. Suits turbo sizing 54-68mm. Primary lobes will crossover to VTEC around 5k rpm, VTEC will pull to around 10k rpm (depending on engine). Still maintains reasonable drivability and mild idle off-VTEC. Requires valve spring upgrade, Kelford Cams recommend KVS18-K. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 250°/7.0mm 254°/8.6mm| Exhaust: 250°/7.0mm

176-T2 Camshaft Set

294/298 Degrees advertised duration. 11.80m /11.30mm lift.

Pro Import drag racing cams to suit engines making 1200hp-1600hp. Turbo sizing 72mm+. Best suited for alcohol fuels. Can run to 50psi+ boost and 10,500rpm when used with KVS18-K spring kit. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 270°/11.0mm | Exhaust: 262°/10.0mm.

176-TS Camshaft Set

268/268 Degrees advertised duration. 11.25mm /11.00mm lift.

The ultimate street turbo cams to suit 350-600hp B16A/B18C engines. Suits 48-58mm size turbo. Valve timing of primary and VTEC lobes is optimised for turbo setups helping produce a broader power band compared to OEM cams. Still maintains good street drivability and mild idle off-VTEC. The 176-TS VTEC lobes open up top end power in the 5k-9.5k rpm range for track use or spirited driving. Requires valve spring upgrade, Kelford Cams recommend KVS18-K. Primary lobe spec: Intake: 242°/8.4mm | Exhaust: 246°/7.8mm
