While HPR offer many different options and ways to mount a 8 speed transmission in your GTR, including even sending a transmission to them for modification, due to the very expensive international shipping costs to Australia we have decided to offer the GTR kit in a form that makes the most sense and offers the most value for Australian customers.
This means on top of the base HPR kit, it will be supplied with a transmission, that has been through the preperation service by HPR for installation in to the GTR chassis and internal wiring modifications for connection to a TurboLamik TCU, including the Cat0 1000hp build option on the transmission, Turbo Lamik TCU, Universal Wiring Harness, Sequential or OEM Style Shifter (including mouting plate), trans cooler adapter. The pricing includes shipping to us, GST, import duty etc. The only thing left is frieght from our warehouse in Brisbane to you. Which we will work out once the kit arrives from Europe.
HTG GCU are not supported at this point in time. However you can change the wireframe internally if you are using a HTG.......... for some reason.

- RB to 8HP adapter kit CNC machined of aircraft grade 7075 Aluminium
- TurboLamik TCU2.0

- Billet flex plate, with ring gear
- 8HP Breather mod kit
(needed for minimal tunnel clearancing in Nissan transmission tunnels)
- 3 piece billet crossmember kit
- 8HP To Transfer Case Adapter Kit
- Billet 7075 oil pump cover kit for GTR transfer
- Shift selector blockout
- Shifter cover plate for transfer case
- Nissan Billet shifter mount kit
- DCT Sequential Style Shifter (long or short)
- 8HP billet oil pan kit to suit GTR kit
(needed for crossmember clearance)
- Seal kit for transmission (already installed)
- Transmission oil cooler adaptor 8AN

The kit is made to suit a R34 GTR chassis as a direct bolt in with the standard front and rear shafts. This means with these adapters the 8hp70 used in this conversion is the same length as the R34 6 speed manual transmission. If you have a R32 or R33 chassis with original 5 speed transmission, you will need both your shafts modified to suit this conversion. If you already have a 6 speed or even some sequential transmissions in your R32 or R33 it may already have shafts to suit the R34 6 speed transmission setup. Please contact us after purchase if you would like assistance with shaft lengths to suit your chassis. We have all relevant lengths for the different chassis.

Transmission Preperation Information
Prepwork included on all transmissions supplied with this kit
- Remove all internal components
- Remove mechatronics module
- Disassembly and inspection of all internal components
- Inspect/measure all clutch packs/replace with new if needed
- Supply and install Sonnax HD backing plates for A and D clutch
- Remove/install rear planetary gear (modified for GTR kits)
- Supply and install rear seal kit/HPR output change (if purchased separately in kit)
- Supply and install HPR breather mod-kit
- Supply and install HPR front seal kit
- Reinstall all internal components acc to specification
- Install Oil pan, mechatronics module, wiring plug
- Acid clean of transmission
External prep work package
- Remove outside webbing for tunnel clearance
- Make clearance for starter motor
- Make clearance for front propshaft
- Prep rear flange for adapter installation
- Weld thread inserts to converter
Upgrade options for the HPR Prepped Transmissions
HPR Cat 0 build 1000Hp 1000Nm ($23500)
This is a clutch stack rebuild, (stock capacity) done in house at HPR
Only done on low mileage transmissions in good condition.
Installation of Suncoast Cat 0 kit:
Full disassembly, ultrasonic clean, all rotating assembly thoroughly inspected.
Dry stack clutch build to set clearance, final wet build.
HPR Cat 1 build 1000Hp 1000Nm ($28500)
This is a full transmission rebuild, done in house at HPR
Installation of Suncoast Cat 1 kit with following options:
Zip kit and Bushing kit from Sonnax, New genuine ZF solenoids.
Full disassembly, ultrasonic clean, all rotating assembly thoroughly inspected.
Replace pistons w seals. Install Sonnax bushing kit.
Full valve body teardown, ultrasonic clean, installation of Sonnax Zip kit and new molded valve body separator plate. Ream/replace with oversize valves if needed. Replace all solenoids.
Full post test of valve body. Dry stack clutch build to set clearance, final wet build.
HPR Cat 2 build 1300Hp 1300Nm ($29500)
This is a full transmission rebuild, done in house at HPR
It comes expanded capacity clutch packs, and all the contents from the Cat 1 build plus
Sonnax HD E-hub and Suncoast Oil pump.
Installation of Suncoast Cat 2 kit with following options:
Zip kit and Bushing kit from Sonnax, New genuine ZF solenoids, Suncoast Oil pump, Sonnax HD E-hub
Full disassembly, ultrasonic clean, all rotating assembly thoroughly inspected.
Replace pistons w seals. Install Sonnax bushing kit.
Full valve body teardown, ultrasonic clean, installation of Sonnax Zip kit and new molded valve body separator plate. Ream/replace with oversize valves if needed. Replace all solenoids with new. Full post test of valve body. Dry stack clutch build to set clearance, final wet build.

This is a full transmission rebuild, done in house at HPR
It comes expanded capacity clutch packs, and all the contents from the Cat 1 and Cat 2 build, plus the Suncoast billet E-hub.
