This unique kit lets you retain your original AC compressor while eliminating the factory power steering (PS) pump. It's an ideal solution for:
Installing an electric power steering (EPS) conversion.
Integrating a JZ engine into a chassis already equipped with an EPS system.
Simplified setups in vehicles using manual steering or a steering box, whilst retaining AC.
This kit includes a ready-to-install 2JZ GRP Engineering Drive Belt Auto Tensioner (16620-0W026GRP). We have taken the extra step of modifying it to ensure it integrates seamlessly with the new idler pulley, making installation straightforward.
Belt Length: The included belt (if selected) is sized to suit a stock alternator and stock pulley setup (see pictured). Please note that belt length may vary if you are using an aftermarket high-output alternator or different pulley diameters.
Compatibility: This kit is designed specifically for 2JZ engines. A 1JZ-specific version is currently in development and will be available soon.
