Atomic - Ford Barra Cam Cap Bolt Kit

Atomic Hi Tensile Cam Cap bolt kit for Ford DOHC 4.0L 6cyl - Barra. Suits all model Barra engines.
Kit includes 24x short bolts and 4x long bolts required to replace all bolts on the cam caps/saddles. 

Installation instructions. 
1.    Fit cam caps/saddles to correct locations per service manual - ensure all caps fit snuggly on the dowels and go down evenly. Replace any damaged dowels if required.
2.    Install the 4 long bolts in the 4 holes at the front of head either side of the VCT holes (2 on the inlet cap, 2 on the exhaust cap) with loctite 222 or equivalent and do up finger tight.  
3.    Install the 24 short cam cap bolts in the remaining locations with loctite 222 or equivalent and do up finger tight
4.    Torque all bolts to 13nm. Start with the 2 centre bolts of each cam cap/saddle so it comes down evenly 
5.    Check torque and mark if required. Ensure no debris or tools have been left in the head
