Venom Automotive - Toyota 2JZ Lower Alternator Support Bracket

Venom Automotive 2JZ Alternator Support Bracket to reinforce the lower alternator tab on the 2JZ-GE & GTE blocks. Commonly these tabs are breaking off from fatigue or over tightening during installation of the alternator.

This bracket will reinforce unbroken tabs as a precaution to failure or assist in supporting the alternator where the original mounting point has broken off (as pictured). Please note we recommend that the block tab is tacked in place to evenly support the alternator mounting face.

Compatible with Mid & Rear Sump Arrangements. Not Compatible with Front Sump Engines.

-1x JZA80 Billet Alternator Support Mount to Suit 2JZ Variants

-1x M10 Nut

-2x M8 High Tensile Bolts.

-1x 125mm M10 Threaded Stud

INSTALLATION TIPS

1. Remove Alternator as per the Toyota Supra Repair Manual (TSRM)

2. Remove existing lower block stud (where not already broken off)

3. Remove 2x bolts from sump to enable installation of support bracket

4. Install 2x M8 Bolts to 80% thread

5. Install replacement M10 threaded stud to the full depth of the support bracket (Tip: to avoid damaging the thread with vicegrips, use 2 nuts back to back)

6. Tighten 2x M8 Botls from Step 5

7. Reinstall Alternator as per TSRM
