These brackets have been designed to offer 2 positions and utilise the factory BMW E90 rubber engine mount.
Test Vehicle: BMW E92 325i, 2JZ, 8HP70
The forwardmost position was fitted using the factory gearbox crossmember and the gearbox mount from a E90 335iD. This will retain the factory driveshaft and rubber coupling. It requires the sump pan to be notched, the oil pickup will need to be lengthened and the bracket it uses will need to be modified. Some cooling systems mods may be required.
The rearmost position was fitted using our custom 8HP70 mount and custom E90 gearbox crossmember. The sump will still require to be notched(but a lot less) and the factory oil pickup doesn't require any modifications. The factory radiator and fans can be used.
