Atomic - Barra Race Valve Springs & Chrome Retainers

All Atomic H/Duty and Race Series springs undergo conical winding, ensuring precise fitting for both the spring seat base and the smaller OD retainer. These are not mere inner springs extracted from Chev or Ford V8 sets, nor are they rebranded Ford DOHC V8 or Typhoon/Tornado springs, which exhibit similar fatigue rates as the originals. Instead, they are custom-wound using premium quality nickel chrome vanadium spring steel sourced from the USA. These springs are heat-treated, shot-peened, scragged, and packaged in matched sets of either 12 or 24, catering to all 4.0L SOHC and DOHC 6-cylinder engines. Compatible with standard or Atomic camshafts, they eliminate the need for costly cylinder head machining. Additionally, the standard valve spring retainers, seals, and locks can be retained.
