This is the adapter kit for you.

Adapter kit to fit a BMW 8HP70 N57 gearbox to a BMW N54/N55/S55 engine.

To be used with the OEM N54/N55 flexplate, with the adapter the N57 gearbox will get the same length and torque converter position as the 6HP gearbox.

If you want to use the N57 torque converter a new bolt pattern needs to be added into the N57 torque converter. We recommend using our modification kit for the most easy installation.

Adapter plate and made out of high grade aluminum and natural anodized for a premium feel and experience.

Adapter plate thickness is 17mm.

S55 engine does not have provisions in the sump to access the converter bolts. However the converter bolts can be accessed through the starter motor hole.
