This unique ratio is perfect where a longer ratio is required – common applications include the use of swapped transmissions such as the ZF 8HP or BMW DCT transmissions are used. For AWD applications, the rear diff must match the front diff ratio. 

These stronger sets are made with EN36C material, are heat treated and then profile ground to produce an optimal contact pattern for quiet running and reliable load bearing.
