The Ford DOHC Barra engine is prone to harmonic issues, and flexplate bolts often rattle loose as RPM levels increase and power increases. A common practice is to tack the flexplate bolts to the flex plate it self, stopping the bolts from unwinding over time. 
Our flex plate weld on kit allowes you to tack the bolts to a ring that rests onto the flex plate, meaning that your flex plate isn't damaged or weakened in the welding process.
