The Kelford Cams range of camshafts for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines are renowned worldwide for their superior results. This range is for the DOHC 4G63T Evolution 9 MIVEC engine with a solid lifter conversion. All of the camshafts in this range are ground on our Toyoda CNC masterless cam grinder to consistently deliver the highest quality product.
Our 'TX' range of camshafts for Mitsubishi 4G63 DOHC engines have the best available lobe designs, featuring low seat timing and maximum valve area while retaining perfect valve control at high RPM.
Due to popular demand, we now offer a range of catalogue designs to cater for 4G63 engines with a solid lifter conversion; this range is ideal for those serious motorsport applications where use of aggressive limiters for launch, shift and anti-lag may cause hydraulic lifter pump up.
We have developed a proven range of camshafts for this engine to suit most applications. However, the 9-SLX282 is the largest camshaft we offer for this engine. For more serious applications we recommend disabling the MIVEC system and using our Evo 8 solid lifter cams.

EVO 9 solid lifter 272° cams. The best all round performing motorsport cams. These are the solid lifter version of our mega popular TX272 profile. Suits racing 4G63 engines in the 400-700hp range. 54-64mm turbo size range. Broader power band and improved throttle response when using MIVEC. 282/288 Degree advertised duration, 11.50mm/11.50mm lift.
282° high HP solid lifter racing cams to suit well built time attack and drag racing engines. Suits 700hp+ 62mm+ turbo. Great with E85 and similar ethanol blend fuels. Broader power band and improved throttle response when using MIVEC. Not for OEM hydraulic lifters, must convert to solid lifter.
