Simply purchase a copy of the Hughes Race Built magazine and go in the draw to win (one entry per magazine purchased).

The promotion commences at 12.01 am on 11 December 2023 and closes at midnight on 7 February 2024. Qualifying purchases must be made between these dates.

The “Winner” is defined as the person whose name is drawn in the Prize Draw held on or about 9 February 2024.

If the magazine is purchased as a gift, the draw entry will be given to the purchaser of the magazine, not the receiver of the emailed magazine coupon.

One customer may buy as many magazines as they wish. Example – 2 copy’s purchased = 2 entries into draw.

480HP  8500rpm SCREAMING 1UZ!? YES PLEASE!

When Toyota released the 1UZ in 1989 with all of its 256hp, I’m not sure they had in mind the engine you now see on these pages: 480hp, 8500rpm, throttle response, and the crisp sound of a NASCAR. Toyota is great at leaving potential on the table. This build is a combination of utilising Japanese engineering, quality aftermarket parts, and years of 1UZ development that has happened in the HRB shop.

We wont give away to much on this build as you will find the full build break down inside this copy of HRB! We will say this is one awesome turn key package, all you need to do is add power, fuel and burn tires! What ever you want to do this engine will take it! Supported with fully forged rotating assembly, Kelford valve train and link engine management, ready to pull some RPM!

All you have to do is think of a wild build to put it in!
