Kristian's 1JZ 8HP KE38 Corolla
Kristian has always been a KE corolla fan and wanted to build his ultimate idea of a street and drag KE38 Panel van.
His goal as always was to keep the car all toyota, so a 1JZGTE non vvti was the engine of choice, a 50 series 8HP gearbox as found in the A90 supra for the transmission and a Hilux diff down the back. Streetable was the number one priority, not a huge lag monster or something you didnt want to get in and drive every day yet still capable of mid to low 8 second passes was the plan.
Making 1100.7HP at the hubs with 39Psi of boost and a 70HP shot of nitrous, air filter and muffler were also removed for this dyno run. Et so far 8.63 with a soft 1.41 60 Foot, more power will be added at our next events for some runs lower into the 8's.
