Originally bought this car for a daily/family car and well that didn't go to plan at all.. Removed the engine one weekend to do some general maintenance/ new clutch and when the engine was put back in, on first start up it spun a bearing.. And that's where the rabbit hole started for me on this car. So when I bought the car it already had Forged Conrods and Pistons and was also a EJ25 which doesn't come in this factory. Got the Bores measured and found out that they were quite mushroomed. So ended going back to a EJ20 STI block/Cases and reused the EJ25 Crank and Forged Conrods to achieve a stroked EJ20 (2.1L). Put a bunch of goodies throughout it. Still my daily driver as of today. Recently tuned by Jesse at Madoc Tuning and made 325hp on E85(19psi) & 273hp on 98(18psi).
