Car has gone 8.7s on only 23psi @ 153mph
Still only a handful of runs under it's belt as we keep having to upgrade chassis parts as keep bending stuff. First, the axles bent; then, in the next outing, the 9-inch center blew, and finally, during the event after that, the differential housing twisted like a banana.
Had tight convertor issues that needed dialing in which we tried to overcome with a 100hp shot of nitrous on launch hence the huge wheel stands. (Kristian's recipe: 2jz, Powerglide, Nitrous = FUN!!) Have loosened convertor a smidge and now only use nitrous to get up on boost target for launch. Back racing this weekend so see how it goes. Going to try a bit of roll racing soon also. Plan is to attend all 3 Jamborees next year.
