Kristian purchased his 1JZ Cressida in around 2008 for the sum of $1500 as a complete driving 1JZ converted MX83 Cressida with a suspected blown head gasket. After a general check over it was found the engine to be fine and other issues with the cooling system were causing over heating.
With with some basic mods to the package, split dump pipes, 3" exhaust, 600x300x100 intercooler and 16psi of boost saw the car into 12 second quarter mile times with stock Turbochargers and Ecu.
After daily driving the car like this for a few years the following final modifications followed, with the end results being 9.98 @141mph over the quarter mile and 628rwhp @38psi on the dyno whilst still remaining Kristian's daily driver.
